Dalmatian club for the enjoyment & preservation of the breed. We welcome all Dalmatian owners who would like to be a part of a Dalmatian specific Club.

The Heartland Dalmatian Club of Greater Kansas City (HDC) is a Regional Dalmatian club under the parent club the Dalmatian Club of America (DCA) and abides by the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club (AKC).

We support the Dalmatian Club of American Foundation, Inc, (DCAF) a 503c non-profit organization that funds health and research grants for the welfare of Dalmatians specifically and canines in general.

We support the official magazine of the DCA, the Spotter. The Spotter is the only online and printed Dalmatian publication.

Originally known as the Central States Dalmatian Association, the Heartland Dalmatian Club has been in existence since August 1981. On March 14, 1997, we held our first licensed specialty show with more than 100 dogs from 15 states. In 2004, our club sponsored the Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty in Lawrence, Kansas.

Our next Regional Specialty Show will be held on June 2md & June 3rd, 2023 in conjunction with the Jesse James Kennel Club all-breed dog shows in Topeka, Kansas.

Joining HDC gave me a new fun hobby to do with my Dalmatian as well as introduced me to others who also love the breed.
