Dalmatians are a wonderfully intelligent and active breed. They are higher energy for the most part, but also like to be your “velcro” dog and follow you around the house to see what you are doing. Maybe they can help or cause a little mischief and merriment. Dalmatians love to be the clown and center of attention.

Make sure you research any breed of dog thoroughly before you make a life-long addition to your family!
Dalmatian do shed 365 days a year, but have a self-cleaning, low maintenance coat, and do not have much doggy odor to them. A good quality food, regular brushing combined with the ocassional bath will help to keep the shedding down.
Dalmatians can make a delightful addition to your family, but make sure you research any breed of dog you are considering so you can make the right choice for you and your situation. Your new family member, if a Dalmatian, will be with you for an average of 12 – 15 years.
